Pit/Fall River RCD

California

The Upper Pit Forest project is an innovative approach to developing partnerships with government and non-government organization and private businesses to improve forest health and socioeconomic conditions in the region.  The focus is to restore forest health through biomass utilization and thinning.

Stewardship West is also providing project management services for the Burney-Hat Creek Forest Health Project and implementing the Manzanita Chutes Project for the Fall River Resource Conservation District. This includes 1500 acres of forest restoration in high priority plantations.
