Stewardship West is very excited to share with you the signed Decision Memo for the Hollenbeck project.
“The Hollenbeck Hazardous Fuels Reduction Project (HFRP) is focused on reducing hazardous fuels and increasing forest health in a strategically chosen location that connects to fuelbreaks on adjacent private lands. The project area is proposed for approximately 1,707 acres of federally administered lands on the Big Valley Ranger District, Modoc National Forest. The project is a collaborative partnership between the Modoc National Forest (MDF) and Stewardship West, a 501(c)(3) non-profit focused on engineering healthy and resilient forests with a strategic forest stewardship approach to forest management.” - Forest Service U.S. Department of Agriculture, Decision Memorandum
